When the modern style bathroom is a little too basic for you, why don’t you bring the idea from the Far East Land and design your very own Asian bathroom ideas? The trend of thematic bathroom is not a new thing. When the modern bathroom is getting too common, many people are trying to bring something new and personal about the style of their living space, including bathroom. Some might play a little with beach inspired Brunswick house bathroom while others improvise with the colors and pattern. Now we do the Asian style one. Are you ready?
Decorating the Asian bathroom ideas is not really easy because you will deal with mostly wooden palette and the lighting. Typical Far East Land bathrooms are pretty much outside the house but still in the personal compound, so the natural aspect is very much affiliated into the overall result. Some areas you can cover or made by the wooden are the cabinet under the sink and bathtub. While for the area above the counter, using the sleek bright marble is a good option to support the lighting. Bathtub is not necessarily made from wooden but you can set a plank for it. As the plants and bamboo are important, try to put a medium height bamboo tree into a pot and put that by the corner of the bathroom. You can also use the fake bamboo shaped plate to put soap or bamboo tube for the liquid soap. Little accent matters!
After the plants and woods, the next stage is the lighting. While some modern looks prefer to have bright lighting, Asian bathroom ideas are a little dimmed in the light. If you cannot get enough natural light from the window, you can always use the electronic candle lamp to light up the room. Bathroom in Asian style are not very much well lit. Planning to take a long bath to relax? Change the electronic candle lamp to a real relaxing candle is very suggestive.
