For some who prefer conventionality, purple bathroom ideas seem like a stretch. A bathroom should offer a niche for you to escape from the world outside that is filled and crowded with tiring stuff. It should provide a space to relieve your mind of the burdens while enjoying a nice, warm bath. The color purple is highly dramatic and, at times, dark and overly imposing—which is not a good thing for those who seek to rest in their tiny slice of sanctuary. However, the color purple, if used in moderate manner, could give your bathroom a character that makes it stand out among other rooms in the house.
Before you stand against the suggestion, purple bathroom ideas do not mean you need to transform the whole bathroom purple. That is a risky action that does not give you something good. If nothing else, that would only result in a bathroom that feels boring and monotonous. Rather, take a look at your bathroom and find the largest feature in it. It could be the bathtub, the floor, the walls and the cabinets, or the shower curtain. Now, after you choose which one of those that is the most striking feature, take it and make it purple. Leave the rest the way they were. This should be enough to make a statement bathroom.
If that is too much of work for you (maybe because it would involve a large-scale remodeling of sort), purple bathroom ideas can still be applied through the accessories. If it is the shower curtain, choose either an all-purple one or something else that bears largely purple motifs on it. The rest should be neutral in color (such as white or grey) to make that purple feature stand out. Choose lighter kind of purple for a sense of width or go for darker one for more comfortable effects.
